In his recent speech at the MICA Annual Press cocktail, Minister Lee Boon Yang noted, among other things, that the media today face new challenges which will require vigorous response.

To meet the challenges of new technologies and online media, mainstream media will have to fall back on the time-tested value of providing timely, reliable and accurate news and reports as well as insightful and informed analyses in a responsible manner.
