Dr. Joseph Sommerville As the leading authority on strategic language use, Dr. Joseph Sommerville shows professionals how to focus their efforts, increase their effectiveness and boost their productivity when they deliver persuasive messages. Known internationally as "The Presentation Expert" he has analyzed over 8,000 presentations and spoken to over 1,500 audiences from 25 countries on topics such as designing powerful presentations, strategic language use and achieving peak communication performance. Participants in his seminars and workshops consistently give him rankings of "excellent". He brings 19 years' experience in business, international agencies and associations to his results-driven approach. He is the author of several articles on effective presentations, business communication and working productively in cross-cultural environments. Dr. Sommerville received his AB from Wabash College
and his MA and PhD from the University of Iowa. He has held academic
positions at Wabash College, Indiana University, the University
of Iowa, the MBA Program at Nanyang Business School and the School
of Communication Studies at Nanyang Technological University in
Singapore. |
