Phimchai Yuthabandol

Phimchai Yuthabandol has over 35 years of experience in Transport Economics and Environmental Assessment at the Department of Highways, Ministry of Transport, the Royal Thai Government. Her work responsibilities covered areas in environmental management, highway planning, transport economics and project evaluation for the highway development plans, which is consistent with the National Economic and Social Development Plans. Phimchai was also a team leader for conducting public participation activities in several highway projects such as constructing motorways and widening roads.

Since Phimchai’s retirement in 2003, she has been working with consultancy firms: TEAM Consulting Engineering and Management Co., Ltd., and Dauruke Communications Co., Ltd, to guide these firms in the preparation of feasibility studies and EIA reports for various kinds of transport projects. Phimchai is also a team leader for conducting public consultation and public meetings with the stakeholders in the study areas.
