Dr Gillian Koh
Dr Gillian Koh is a Research Fellow at the Institute of Policy Studies and works in the area of Politics and Governance, specifically researching state-society relations, public consultation and the development of civil society in Singapore.
Her recent projects include a study on public consultation reviewing the work of the Economic Review Committee (2002-2003), Remaking Singapore Committee (2002-2003) and the Censorship Review Committee (2002-2004), and organising a cross-sectoral public forum on the Government’s proposal to licence a casino in Singapore. She holds a Ph.D in Sociological Studies from the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom (1995).
