David C. Huxley
David is currently the Managing Partner of Simitri Group International. His international business experience includes 20 years dealing with all sorts of negotiations in several Asia Pacific countries in FMCG (Unilever and Alberto Culver) and Information Technology (Unidata and Oracle Corporation).
Subsequent to holding a number of senior sales, marketing and management positions, he became Senior Director of Oracle Corporation Asia Pacific Services Operation. As Senior Director of Asia Pacific Services Operation in Oracle, he accumulated
years of negotiating experience and honed his negotiating skills through leading and
developing their Services operation. It spanned 15 countries, with 650 employees,
and revenues of US$300 million. In this role David also served on the Oracle Asia Pacific Strategic Business / Culture Task Force, which led a corporate wide culture change initiative. He has translated these experiences into highly
effective workshops that impart real and practical skills.
In Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, and other Asian countries, David works with groups of senior executives and one-to-one with Chief Executives to enhance their communication effectiveness when leading teams, driving change and winning business. David has worked with a wide range of organisations in Information Technology, Financial Services, Advertising, Manufacturing, FMCG and Government.
David was raised in Asia (Philippines and Hong Kong) and studied at the University of Sydney in Australia, where he obtained a degree in Economics and Arts prior to an international business career in Asia Pacific.
