Making It Business As Usual: Every organisation is vulnerable to crisis. A crisis can creep over an organisation and it might be too late when you realise it. Whether they emerge from these crisis with their reputation burnished, or tarnished, depends very much on how they deal with these events. Often, organisations suffer negatively because they fail to understand and prepare for effective and consistent crisis communications and stakeholder management. This is particularly vital given today's 24/7 media-sphere and the rise of citizen journalism. This two-day intensive workshop will equip participants with knowledge and skills for integrating crisis management into business-as-usual. Participants will understand the fundamentals of crisis – its definitions, life cycle and indicators. This workshop will also enable participants to practise integrated crisis management skills.
