Our Trainers Andrew Church Andrew Church received his M.A. in Medieval and Modern History from St. Andrews University in Scotland. Following this, he won a Robert T. Jones Scholarship to study for one year at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. After graduation, Andrew joined Barclays Bank International and spent considerable time in various credit departments as well as a spell in the Cayman Islands, as head of Barclays Finance Corporation. Subsequent to this, Andrew joined W.I. Carr, a leading Asian stockbroker. Based in London for 2.5 years, he sold Asian Equities to Institutions based in London and Europe. He was subsequently transferred to Hong Kong, where he spent the next five years selling to Asian-based Institutions, ending up as Head of Sales for Asia. He then joined ABN AMRO as Director of Sales before being posted to Singapore in 1997 as Managing Director of its Singapore office. He was subsequently appointed Managing Director of its Malaysia office as well and also, Head of ASEAN and Sub-Continent Sales for Asia. |
