Ava Ng
Mrs. Ava Ng, a graduate of Chinese University of Hong Kong, received her Master Degree in Urban Planning in McGill University, Canada. She has over 25 years practising experience in Hong Kong with the Planning Department, Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. She had been involved in local planning of many districts in the urban area and the New Territories, as well as statutory planning matters, including serving the Town Planning Board which is a statutory body responsible for plan making and planning control.
At present, she takes charge of the long-term territorial planning work for the Territory, including the Hong Kong 2030: Planning Vision and Strategy for the next 30 years, cross-boundary planning and infrastructure studies and other planning researches. She is also a past President of the Hong Kong Institute of Planners and a member of the Planners Registration Board of Hong Kong.
